# How to see every tweet you've liked from someone on X

**Short answer:** X doesn't have a way to do this. Your Likes tab is one long list of everything you've liked, newest first, with no search and no filter by person. You can scroll it and use your browser's find, dig through your X archive, or use a Chrome extension that sorts your likes by person. I made one of those (XLikes), so keep that in mind. All three are below.

## What X gives you

Your own profile has a Likes tab. That's it. X made likes private in 2024, so you can only see your own, and other people's profiles don't have a Likes tab anymore.

X's search doesn't have an option for posts you've liked either, so there's no way to ask X for “everything I liked from @someone.”

## Option 1: scroll your Likes tab and use Find

1. Go to your profile on x.com and open **Likes**.
2. Press Cmd+F on a Mac or Ctrl+F on Windows and type the person's name or @handle.
3. Scroll down to load more likes, then search again.

Fine for something you liked last week. X loads likes a little at a time and Find only searches what's loaded, so going back months or years means a lot of scrolling.

## Option 2: search your X archive

1. On X, go to **Settings → Your account → Download an archive of your data**. X emails you when it's ready, which can take a day or more.
2. Unzip it and open **data/like.js** in any text editor.
3. Search for words you remember from the post.

The archive has every like, going all the way back. The catch: each one only has the post's text and a link, not who wrote it. So you can search for what a post said, but not for who said it.

## Option 3: use a Chrome extension (XLikes)

This is why I built XLikes. It takes your archive, looks up who wrote each post, and adds a “Liked by you” tab to every profile.

1. Add [XLikes from the Chrome Web Store](https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/xlikes/bnedlcnjiognkaedhcclnajbnlnmioff). It's free.
2. Click the XLikes icon and drop in your X archive (the .zip, or just data/like.js).
3. Let it look up the authors when it asks.
4. Open anyone's profile and click **Liked by you**.

New likes get saved on their own as you browse, so you only import once. It works in desktop Chrome on x.com and twitter.com, and everything stays on your computer. More on the [XLikes homepage](https://xlikes.henrys.place/).

## Which one should you use?

| | Filter by person | Search text | How far back |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Scroll + Find | Only what's loaded | Only what's loaded | As far as you scroll |
| X archive | No, there are no author names | Yes | Everything |
| XLikes | Yes, on their profile | Yes | Everything, once you import |

Looking for one recent post? Scroll. Need something old and remember the words? Search the archive. Want this for everyone you follow, all the time? That's what XLikes is for.
